Hawaii Department of Education - Computer Application Training Workshops
The Computer Application Training program strives to service the needs of the Hawaii Department of Education (HDOE) personnel. The non-credit computer application training workshops focus on developing technology skills. Developed by the Advanced Technology Research Branch (ATRB), the purpose of this program is to equip employees with the computer application skills that will enable them to increase productivity by working smarter, not harder. Each workshop is about three hours long.
Special sessions are available to schools or DOE personnel that would like to schedule a training session at their school/office for their staff. Schools/offices will need to provide a computer lab for the training and ensure the appropriate software is loaded for the training. ATRB will provide a trainer and the materials. The cost for special sessions will be determined by enrollment and trainer cost. Special sessions can also be held at the OCISS Annex facilities. Please contact ATRB to arrange special session workshop dates.
Workshops are open to all HDOE emplyees including certificated and classified staff.
